FairCom is Hiring a Product Manager Near Sandy, UT

Description

In this role, you are FairCom’s product champion and will guide the product evolution. The Product Manager will work closely with the product committee made up of representatives from the Technical, Executive, Sales, and Marketing leadership teams to define the product vision, drive innovation, and align stakeholders by setting clear objectives and performance metrics for the team. You will gather and analyze user and stakeholder feedback and data to prioritize features and enhancements, own product road mapping, and coordinate efforts across multiple departments. As a Product leader, you will be pivotal in developing and executing a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and generating maximum business value.

You will work with the world’s first converged IoT & IIoT hub, FairCom Edge, a solution providing real-time data and seamless integration for manufacturers across the globe, as well as our data modernization product, RTG, and our core product, FairCom DB, an advanced database engine focused on reliability and scalability. This role is a perfect mix of technical writing and documentation management with a trusted leader in database technology. 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for FairCom’s products and solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to gain in-depth market insight, gauge the success of product lines, look for value gaps, and continually evaluate pricing models based on industry data. 
  • Benchmark FairCom DBMS solutions with competitors and deliver results to the product committee for effective decision-making.
  • Create PRDs, product requirements, and wireframes to communicate product improvements and features.
  • Create clear avenues of reporting and dashboards for all product lines to share with key Senior Stakeholders in the company, including the Executive team and other Senior Technical Leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Product Management, Business, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience. 
  • 2 years of experience in B2B Technology or Software Product Management.
  • 3 years of experience in Product Management leadership roles with a strong track record that shows successful product strategies and programs with measurable impacts on revenue contribution. 

Position Preferences

  • A Master’s Degree in Product Management or Computer Science is a plus. 
  • Experience working with IoT / IIoT and Raspberry Pi
  • Strong expertise in Database Technology and has experience being an end-user and/or DBA of a DBMS.
